Keep Your Commercial Printing Look Consistent
This topic may seem a bit obvious but believe it or not, there are several companies that never grasp this simple marketing tip. When developing your letterhead, envelopes, business cards, brochures, newsletters, or other printed documents, keep your colors and look consistent throughout. This will help prospects and customers to identify your materials and even brand your look to some degree.
Sometimes it may be hard to do this, but try to pick one aspect of your image, whether it be from your logo or letterhead and try to repeat it throughout your printed materials. If you do not want to keep repeating your company colors, you cold use whatever image you pick to repeat and change the color scheme of it to fit the theme of the document, postcard or brochure that you are developing. The goal is to create a look that is recognizable and people relate to your company as soon as they see it.
This may be harder to implement if you have been in business for a long time and already have an assortment of printed materials or brochures, but it is never to late to start. Just pick each document as it comes up for reprint and revise it to a consistent campaign. That way you can address the need gradually rather than all at once.
Now doing this is not a make or break business decision but it will help with the overall perception and image of your company. What it does it make people think you have your act together and makes you look structured, even if you are not. Sometimes, the simplest of things can reap the biggest rewards.
