Printing Labels for Soy Candles
Printing labels for candles is a bit tricky. We have a soy candle customer that has over 100 different labels that they need for their candles. Each candle is handmade and the labels that they use are need to represent who they are as a company. If a candle has a poorly designed label it reflects poorly on the entire product.
Making labels for candles means that you need to get the proper template for the candle that you are going to put the lable on. So if you are going to use a 2 inch round label, first you need to get the label template. A 2 inch round label will fit 20 lables to a sheet and will work with a 8 oz candle tin. Now if you wanted to put a label on a 16 oz candle tin you would need a 3 inch round label and would only get 6 labels to a sheet.
Once you know what size lables you want and get the templates it is time to design your labels, you must be careful to design your lables so that what you want seen on your candles is within the boarders of the individual label templates.
