Advertising Through Box Labels
There are hundreds of thousands of companies that ship their products to their customers through the mail. Every day, millions of packages are being delivered to customers all around the world. And every one of these boxes has a shipping label affixed to the front of it. This label is looked at by a large variety of people, before it even gets to the customer. SO why not put that shipping label to use by using that box label as an advertising space?
This is not a new idea, but it has only recently become a cost-effective way to advertise products. Since it is right on the box label, it is a friendly, unobtrusive way to advertise that will not seem overbearing to customers, since they nearly always look at the shipping label anyway before opening the box. It is a very visible way to advertise, because there is the potential for many people to see the box label in transit and become future customers. It is a proven fact that once a customer buys from you, they are very likely to buy from you again if they are happy with their purchase; so doing some advertising on the box label of each product that is sent to them is a very good idea.
There are many online and offline companies that sell box labels, and sell the software to make your own box labels. And since you have to print a label for the box anyway, why not make it a bit bigger and add a little bit of advertising where they are guaranteed to see it? It is a great way to let customers know that you want their repeat business.
