Issues to find out Previous to Acquiring Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was released on November 10th, 2009 and had one of the greatest introductions I can even keep in mind! I did not go out in the midnight launch, but I went out on unveiling day and was there three hours before launch in the morning hours and there were witout a doubt 20+ people lingering there. Just after a half hour to forty-five minutes, I finally got hold of my copy of Modern Warfare 2 for the PlayStation 3 system and off I went to invest the downtime of my week ranking up as quick as I could.

So just before I start, I just want to express that I'm a massive fan of Call of Duty 4, but I tried to help keep this review from the mindset of a person who hasnt played any of the Call of Duty video games or anyone who didnt really like the prior game titles from the Call of Duty series. I wouldnt consider myself a Call of Duty fan-boy, but I was decided on ordering Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 back when Call of Duty 4 was discharged.

As the majority of you currently recognize, I barely actually spend money on video games that dont come with some form of multi-player and often will only spend money on games for the multi-player feature, but I did genuinely engage in the entire single player campaign in Modern Warfare 2 and I need to say that I did take pleasure in it even while playing through a second time. The story was substantial, it was a little bewildering at times, but it tied in rather nicely with where the story left off in Call of Duty 4 and presented resolutions to a great number of unanswered problems.

Really the only factor I certainly did not like in regards to the single player campaign in Modern Warfare 2 was that, for the most part, it absolutely was rather simple on the hardest difficulty setting. Now, I didnt say constantly, due to the fact that that is definitely not true, there were times in which I got extremely aggravated since there were just so large a number of enemies at once on each side and it made me quite furious, but other than that, the single player campaign was agreeable and also a refreshing new video game to play through.

As far as the controller layout goes, it really is precisely the same as in Call of Duty 4 and it was great for that video game and is nevertheless absolutely perfect now. So far as Im concerned, the control structure choices in COD4 and MW2 are the most perfect layouts that have ever been set together for any game. There are actually a couple of other layouts which you can select from and more or less all of those layouts are excellent as well. Some of the optional layouts take a little while to get accustomed to, but as soon as youre accustomed to the new controller layout, you are beastly!

Now comes the part which you all have been waiting for! My opinions relating to the multiplayer element of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2! So after putting in more than 360 hours of online gaming, I imagine I can give a fairly good overview of what it is all about. For the most part, every thing is much better balanced. The maps are laid out sufficiently, and most of the perks and weapon attachments work great. This being said, there are always negatives to go together with the positives. Now, dont get me completely wrong here, I am not planning to go over every little thing that's ideal in this game, since it would take too long. Instead, I am going to try and go over some of the significant weaknesses inside of the online aspect of this video game, merely because I imagine this would be far more valuable to possible buyers and/or prior owners.

Here we go, lets get started now relating to the negative aspects. So far as Im concerned, 1 man army is the only real sketchy perk. On its own, there is practically nothing wrong with it, and it can be tremendously valuable based on your position, but applied within the hands, it can be put into use in an very irritating way that can make any individual desire to just beat their controller until the pieces refrain from soaring.

Next up, we have death streaks. To just be straightforward and truthful, being compensated for dying, in my opinion, is just absurd. There really should be no need for this if the spawn function was efficiently thought through, which, sadly, it most definitely is not, but if youre applying death streaks for anything but to stop the bad spawn system, then you've no excuse, you are a noob.

On that note, I may as well touch on the spawn method being as I already opened that can of worms. With out getting into a huge rant, essentially the spawn process performs perfectly in most circumstances, but on the occasion, it performs just about as efficiently as an Xbox 360 with the RROD. It doesnt help you in anyway, it may result in you tremendous disappointment, and it makes you want to throw your console out the windowpane of a 3 story or higher building. I am pretty certain that this is pretty much all I have to express about that, for the simple reason that if you have played a decent number of games and game types, you know exactly what Im babbling about.

One other issue that operates just like that, is the matchmaking structure. The game automatically determines what lobby its going to put you in. This means, you can be put inside a lobby which has seven seconds left within your game and it's basically unreal for you to win. This definitely maddens me to no end. There is no simpler strategy to trash my hype to just cool off and play some Modern Warfare 2 then when I start it up and join a match on a team that has been just getting pwned. It is not fun at all, in fact, most of the time if this happens I will just flip the PlayStation 3 system off right then and there and do something different.

So far as weapons go, they're pretty much balanced now. Back in the start there was an enormous argument about the model 1887s, but due to all of the complainers, they got nerfed and now are about just as beneficial as flinging a rock at somebody. So far as the duration of the weapons go, they are all incredibly effective and in the case that you really don't react swiftly, you will die while not even understanding what transpired.

I believe this concludes the mini argument relating to the multiplayer factor of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and if you need to comprehend any more with regard to it, just purchase it, since it is most undoubtedly worth the cash.
