Stuff to find out Prior to Choosing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was for sale on November 10th, 2009 and had one of the biggest unveilings I can even recall! I didnt go out on the midnight roll-out, but I went out on release day and was there 3 hours previous to launch in the morning and there were witout a doubt 20+ persons sitting there. Right after a half hour to forty-five minutes, I finally purchased my copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for the Playstation 3 and off I went to commit the remainder of my week ranking up as quickly as I possibly could.

So before I get started, I just want to say that I'm a huge fan of Call of Duty 4, but I tried to keep this review from the mindset of someone who has not played any of the Call of Duty games or someone who didnt really like the earlier games in the Call of Duty series. I would not think of myself a Call of Duty fan-boy, but I was set on getting Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 back when Call of Duty 4 was unveiled.

As most of you currently recognize, I rarely actually invest in game titles that really don't offer some form of multi-player and typically will only invest in game titles for its multi-player aspect, but I did really engage in the complete single player campaign in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and I ought to say that I did get pleasure from it even while playing through a second time. The story was powerful, it was a little baffling at times, but it tied in quite efficiently with exactly where the story left off in Call of Duty 4 and provided explanations to so many unanswered concerns.

The only thing I really didnt like in regards to the single player campaign in Modern Warfare 2 was that, for the most part, it absolutely was quite uncomplicated at the hardest difficulty setting. Now, I didnt say always, for the reason that that's surely not true, there were occasions in which I got very aggravated as a result of there were just so large a number of enemies at once on every single side and it got me tremendously angry, but other than that, the single player campaign was enjoyable and plus a refreshing new video game to play through.

So far as the controller layout goes, it's precisely the same as in Call of Duty 4 and it absolutely was fantastic for that video game and is still totally faultless now. So far as Im concerned, the control layout choices in COD4 and MW2 are the ideal layouts that have ever been placed together for any video game. You'll notice a few other layouts that you can choose from and pretty much all of those layouts are excellent as well. Some of the optional layouts take a little while to get accustomed to, but when you are accustomed to the new control scheme, you are unstoppable!

Now comes the aspect that you all have been waiting for! My thoughts for the multiplayer part of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2! So after putting in more than 360 hours of online gaming, I think I can give a relatively decent overview of what it is all about. For the most part, everything is better balanced. The maps are laid out suitably, and most of the perks and weapon attachments work fine. This being stated, there are definitely negatives to go along with the positives. Now, do not get me wrong here, Im not going to go over every little thing that's ideal in this video game, since it would take too long. Instead, Im going to try and go over some of the significant imperfections inside the online part of this video game, simply because I imagine this would be far more useful to possible buyers and/or earlier owners.

Here we go, lets get started now relating to the negative aspects. So far as Im concerned, one man army is the only unethical perk. On its own, there's nothing wrong with it, and it can be extremely helpful depending on your circumstance, but utilized in the hands, it may be implemented in an very annoying way that will make any person just want to simply just break their controller until the pieces discontinue flying.

Next up, we have death streaks. To just be straightforward and direct, getting honored for dying, in my opinion, is just mindless. There ought to be no need for this if the spawn process was well thought through, which, unfortunately, it most certainly isn't, but if you are utilizing death streaks for anything but to beat the very poor spawn process, then you have no excuse, you are simply a noob.

On that note, I might as well touch on the spawn procedure being as I already opened that can of worms. While not starting into a huge rant, basically the spawn process works competently in most instances, but on the occasion, it succeeds just about as clearly as an Xbox 360 with the RROD. It doesnt assist you whatsoever, it generates you extreme irritation, and it makes you wish to discard your console out the window of a 3 story or higher building. Im pretty certain that that may be pretty much all I have to say about that, merely because if you have played a decent number of games and online game varieties, you know precisely what Im conversing about.

Just one other issue that works just like that, is the matchmaking solution. The video game automatically determines what lobby it is going to put you in. This means, you could be placed inside a lobby which has 15 seconds left during the online game and it's physically unreal for you to win. This definitely maddens me to no end. Theres no simpler approach to devastate my enthusiasm to just chill out and engage in some Modern Warfare 2 then when I launch it up and join a match on a team that has been just getting pwned. It is not fun in any way, in fact, most of the time if this happens I will simply flip the PlayStation 3 off right then and there and do something else.

So far as weapons go, they're very considerably balanced now. In the start there was a huge argument in regards to the model 1887s, but thanks to all the whiners, they got nerfed and now are about just as fantastic as chucking a rock at another person. As far as the rest of the guns go, they're all exceptionally powerful and in the case that you really don't respond speedily, you'll die devoid of even knowing what went down.

I think this concludes the micro rant regarding the multiplayer feature of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and if you wish to grasp any more about it, just buy it, since it is most absolutely well worth the money.
